Why do textiles hate naturists?
My take on today's video by author Jason K Pargin

Jason K. Pargin, author of John Dies at the End (and many more), and former editor-in-chief of Cracked.com, made a video on why America Hates the Left
In short, he claims in this video that the regular population, which he calls "normies," does not want society to change because they love their lives in general.
Basically, they fear violence and crime, so when the left talks about defunding the police and that inequalities cause crime, they feel like it's invalidating their fears. He says it better than I can...
But when I was listening to it, my thought was, why do textiles hate naturists?
Sure, not all of them, but many.
And I wonder if it's not the same line of reasoning.
Most of my textile friends that I kept after opening up about my naturism remained friends because it didn't affect their lives.
They didn't fear inviting me to their house because they knew I would be dressed.
And they could ask before coming over whether we could be nude or not and negotiate that we wouldn't be, since they knew we wanted to see them more than we wanted to be nude with them. At worst, they could just not come.
But what about the others?
Well, I write naturist stories, like all those on naturist-fiction.com and my Kindle books. I make online naturist initiatives like the naturistcreators website or the naturistbooks website or the few others in the pipeline you will hear in due time.
And yet, none of those initiatives have as their goal to convert any textile into becoming a naturist or for them to change their lives in any way.
My goal is to entertain naturists, first and foremost, and perhaps to help them find good sources of naturist content. And perhaps, in some way, to help organize some naturists into caring more about our lifestyle.
But it's not to make nudity legal in public, and it's not to convert naturists.
I often think that this is part of the objection to the LGBTQ activists. Their goals aren't to turn people gay or trans, like the right seems to think. They only aim to help LGBTQ people to be more accepted.
Well, I am not even personally trying to do that with naturists! Not yet anyway.
But what if it's the same issue: that textiles fear they will see us nude or that their teenager will become a naturist and they will need to see them nude in their house or something.
I don't have those answers.
To worsen it, I am not really making new textile friends, but my kids are. I will talk to them, and we'll try to see if there is something in this theory!
